Customer service

I'm losing pot after pot to this Aria regular who keeps sucking out on me. Meanwhile dealers Cody and Amy are fraternizing and laughing it up with the prick while he's stacking my chips. There's 2 more dealers that made my stiffing list. Who else is on the list? A few sycophants who vocally sucked up to the tourists who threw them a redbird or two immediately after they brutally sucked out on me. They should know by now where their bread is buttered.

A tad bitter?

Not at all. One dealer even high-fived a drunk tourist after the latter won a huge pot off me. They should be a little more sensitive to their surroundings and if not, they can blow me.

Are the games more juicy with the WSOP in town?

The high fiving is a bit much, admittedly, but a good dealer should create an atmosphere based off the needs of the players he's interacting with. He or she has a living to make, after all. Some players tip red birds, but feed off the praise and over thanking after doing so. Some, like yourself, measure each tip carefully and would prefer for them to be accepted without fanfare.

Don't misconstrue the celebration of a win, as a celebration of your loss. Don't blame the dealer for YOUR results. The dealer is providing a service, nothing more, for ten different needs and wants. Which means they're not always going to cater to your specifics.
