I was saying that it doesn't matter how many people have folded before you - the relative strength of your hand is based on the number of opponents you will face. Randy said the opposite - that at a full table of folders, there's a greater chance that the cards you need are dead, whereas at a shorthanded table, there's a greater chance that the cards you need are live (even if everybody folds).
